Integrations

Integrations connect Journeybee to the tools your team already works in, so partner data stays in step without anyone typing it twice. Your CRM keeps its leads and deals in sync, Slack creates leads and mirrors partner conversations, email lets you send from a shared or personal address, and your payment provider pays partners their commissions.

Where to find it: Go to Settings, then Integrations.

Who can use this: Admins can connect, configure and remove integrations. Everyone else sees the integrations that are already connected, and can connect their own email if your company has enabled it.

What is on the page

Integrations are grouped by what they do (CRM, Communication, Email, Payment and Other), and each one is a card showing its logo, name and a short description. A green tick means it is connected.

What you can do with a card depends on your role:

  • Admins see everything, both connected and available. Clicking a connected card opens its configuration; clicking an unconnected one starts the connect flow.

  • Everyone else sees only the integrations your company has already connected. Those cards are read-only, with one exception: if the integration supports personal connections (Gmail and Outlook do), clicking the card connects your account.

What you can connect

CRM

Two-way sync of leads, deals, partners and partner contacts, driven by your own field mapping.

  • Salesforce: managed package, sandbox and My Domain support, partner and deal imports.

  • HubSpot: custom partner objects, pipeline routing, associations, imports.

  • Pipedrive: plus a Journeybee widget inside Pipedrive for your sales team.

  • Attio: real-time sync in both directions, plus a Journeybee dialog inside Attio.

  • Zoho: datacentre-aware, with fields and workflow rules set up for you.

  • Rolldog: connected with a Client ID and Secret rather than a sign-in window.

Communication

  • Slack: create leads from a slash command, mirror partner conversations into Slack channels, and route notifications to Slack.

Email

  • Gmail and Outlook: connect a shared company address everyone can send from, and let each person connect their own mailbox so their emails come from them. See Emailing Partners for how senders are chosen.

Payment

  • XTRM: pay partner commissions and spiffs out to partners' own accounts. See Payments for the day-to-day workflow.

Automation

  • Zapier and other automation tools connect through the public API with an API key rather than through this page.

  • For automation inside Journeybee, use Workflows instead, with no external tool required.

Connecting an integration

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click the card you want.

  2. Complete the connect form. What it asks for depends on the tool: most open a sign-in window at the provider (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio, Zoho, Slack, Gmail, Outlook), while others take credentials you paste in (Rolldog, XTRM). A few have an extra field to fill first: Zoho needs its datacentre, and Salesforce takes an optional My Domain or sandbox URL.

  3. Approve the connection at the provider if you are sent there.

  4. You land on the integration's configuration page. For a CRM, nothing syncs until you set up your field mapping, so see that CRM's article for what to map.

Configuring a connected integration

Clicking a connected card opens its configuration page, which has four areas in the sidebar:

  • Integration: the connection itself, and Remove Integration if you want to disconnect.

  • Configure: sync settings, field mappings and stage mappings, grouped into sections. Each section is marked Not configured, Configured or Changes pending, and mapping sections show how many mappings are complete.

  • Import: where a tool supports it, load records from the provider and bring partners or deals into Journeybee.

  • Manage: back to all integrations.

Use the search box and the Only unmapped filter to work through long mapping lists. Saved changes apply to future sync activity, and do not go back and rewrite records that already synced.

Personal email connections

Gmail and Outlook work at two levels, and they are independent of each other:

  • Company connection: an admin connects one shared address. Anyone on the team can then send from it.

  • Personal connection: each person connects their own mailbox, so emails they send from Journeybee come from their own address. Once an admin has connected the company integration, everyone else can do this from this page by clicking the card.

Keeping connections healthy

Connections expire when a token is revoked, a password changes, or a provider retires access. When that happens Journeybee pauses that integration's sync rather than retrying endlessly, and tells you:

  • Admins see a banner across the top of Journeybee naming the integration that needs reconnecting.

  • Admins are emailed once per disconnection.

Reconnecting is the same flow as connecting, and your configuration and field mappings are kept, so you do not have to set them up again. Sync resumes on the next run.

Troubleshooting

  • An integration I expected is not on the page. Non-admins only see integrations that are already connected. If you are an admin and still cannot see it, it may not be enabled for your account, so contact Journeybee support.

  • The card is connected but nothing is syncing. For a CRM, sync is driven entirely by field mapping. Open Configure and check the relevant sections show as Configured.

  • I clicked a card and nothing happened. Cards are read-only for non-admins, apart from personal email connections. Ask an admin to make the change.

  • A teammate's emails still come from the company address. They have not connected their own mailbox yet, and can do it from this page.

  • I removed an integration by mistake. Reconnect it. Your Journeybee records are untouched by a disconnection, but check the configuration before the next sync.

Good to know

  • Integration settings are company-wide: a change one admin makes applies to everyone.

  • Removing an integration stops syncing but never deletes data, on either side.

  • A CRM connection belongs to the company, not the person who set it up, so anyone with admin rights can reconnect it later.

  • Each integration's connect page links straight to its help article if you want the detail while you set it up.
