Resource Configuration

For each resource in the curriculum:

  • Optional resources do not block certification completion

Prerequisites

  • Set a prerequisite resource that must be completed first

  • Partners see a lock icon until they complete the prerequisite

Ordering

  • Drag resources to set the completion order

  • Number indicators show the suggested sequence

Adding Quiz Blocks to Resources

Quiz blocks are interactive assessments added directly within resource content. They test partner knowledge on specific topics covered in that resource.

Creating a Quiz Block

  1. Open the resource you want to add a quiz to

  2. Click the + button to add a new block

  3. Select Quiz from the block types

  4. The quiz builder opens

Quiz Settings

Configure your quiz behaviour:

Passing Score

  • Set the percentage needed to pass (default: 70%)

  • Example: 70% means partners must answer 7 of 10 questions correctly

Maximum Attempts

  • Leave empty for unlimited attempts

  • Set a number to limit retakes (e.g., 3 attempts)

Show Correct Answers

  • Enable to show correct answers after submission

  • Partners see what they got wrong and why

Randomise Questions

  • Enable to shuffle question order for each attempt

  • Helps prevent memorisation of answer patterns

Adding Questions

Click Add Question to create a new quiz question. Each question needs:

Question Text

  • Enter the question clearly and concisely

  • Avoid ambiguous wording

Question Type Choose from three types:

  1. Multiple Choice

  • Add 2-10 answer options

  • Select one or more correct answers

  • Enable "Multiple answers" if more than one is correct

  1. True/False

  • Simple binary choice

  • Options are automatically set to True and False

  • Select which is correct

  1. Short Answer

  • Partners type their answer

  • Set the expected correct answer

  • Matching is case-insensitive

Explanation (Optional)

  • Add explanation text for the correct answer

  • Shown to partners after submission (if "Show Correct Answers" is enabled)

  • Helps partners learn from mistakes

Managing Questions

Reordering

  • Drag questions in the sidebar to change their order

Editing

  • Click any question in the sidebar to edit it

  • Use 5-15 questions per quiz for optimal engagement

  • Mix question types for variety

  • Provide clear explanations for incorrect answers

  • Set reasonable passing scores (70-80% recommended)

  • Allow multiple attempts to encourage learning

Building Final Assessments
